When we feel we have nothing left to give,
And we are sure that the song has ended,
When our day seems over and the shadows fall
And the darkness of night has descended,
Where can we go to find the strength
To valiantly keep on trying?
Where can we find the hand that will dry
The tears that the heart is crying?

There's but one place to go and that is to God,
And dropping all pretense and pride,
We can pour out our problems without restraint
And gain strength with Him at our side.

And together we stand at life's crossroads
And view what we think is the end,
But God has a much bigger vision,
And He tells us it's only a bend.

For the road goes on and is smoother,
And the pause in the song is a rest,
And the part that's unsung and unfinished
Is the sweetest and richest and best.

So rest and relax and grow stronger ...
Let go and let God share your load.
Your work is not finished or ended ...
You've just come to a bend in the road.

This Week's Theme: GOING RANDOM ... (Again!)

This Too Shall Pass

If I can endure for this minute
Whatever is happening to me,
No matter how heavy my heart is
Or how dark the moment may be-

If I can remain calm and quiet
With all the world crashing about me,
Secure in the knowledge God loves me
When everyone else seems to doubt me-

If I can but keep on believing
What I know in my heart to be true,
That darkness will fade with the morning
And that this will pass away, too-

Then nothing in life can defeat me
For as long as this knowledge remains
I can suffer whatever is happening
For I know God will break all of the chains

That are binding me tight in the darkness
And trying to fill me with fear-
For there is no night without dawning
And I know that my morning is near.

Just For A Smile :)

Thought For The Day - Inner Strength

If you can start the day without caffeine.

If you can get going without pep pills.

If you can always be cheerful ignoring aches and pains.

If you can resist complaining and boring people with your troubles.

If you can eat the same food every day and be grateful for it.

If you can understand when your loved ones are too busy to give you any time.

If you can overlook it when those you love take it out on you when though no fault of yours  something goes wrong.

If you can take criticism and blame without resentment.

If you can ignore a friend's limited education and never correct him.

If you can resist treating a rich friend better than a poor friend.

If you can face the world without lies and deceit.

If you can conquer tension without medical help.

If you can relax without liquor.

If you can sleep without the aid of drugs.

.....Then you are probably the family dog!

This Week's Theme: "Whatever Happens", I mean "GOING RANDOM" Again!

Life Lesson Poem: It's Fine Today

Sure, this world is full of trouble

I ain't said it ain't.

Lord, I've had enough and double
Reason for complaint;
Rain and storm have come to fret me,
Skies are often gray;
Iloms and brambles have beset me
On the road-but say,
Ain't it fine today?

What's the use of always weepin',
Making trouble last?
What's the use of always keepin'
Thinkin' of the past?
Each must have his tribulation-
Water with his wine;
Life, it ain't no celebration,
Trouble?-I've had mine-
But today is fine!

It's today that I am livin',
Not a month ago.
Havin'; losin'; takin'; givin';
As time wills it so.
Yesterday a cloud of sorrow
Fell across the way,
It may rain again tomorrow,
It may rain-but say,
Ain't it fine today?

And to wrap-up this  "STRENGTH" themed week, here's a little but so inspirational and powerful prayer; may everyone be blessed...

Give Me Strength
Give me strength each day and night, please dear Lord, let me wake and see the light.
When I am sad, make me glad, you made a plan for me to see, what my life can really be.
For when we're down, just look around, and see all the beauty that can be found, in every person that should pass thru our life.
Don't let me give up, on my dreams, for when you hear my screams, keep me calm, and give me strength.

This Week's Theme: STRENGTH

This Week's Theme: STRENGTH

    strength can be limitless
    strength can be motionless
    strength can be heartless
    strength can be fearless
    it can be powerful
    it can be lustful
    it can be forceful
    it can be distrustful
    it might bring courage
    it might bring bravery
    it might bring fear
    it might bring fright
it might bring you out of the dark and into the light
it might bring you out of your fear and into a fight
it might bring you off of the ground and into a flight
or it might take you on a journey or an endless plight

    This Week's Theme: STRENGTH

"I gain strength from God. I believe in Jehovah, God, very much... [ ]  I pray a lot and that's how I deal with it.  I'm a strong person.   I'm a warrior, and I know what is inside of me. I'm a fighter, but it's very painful and at the end of the day, I'm still human, you know? I'm still a human being, so it does hurt very, very, very much."

    This Week's Theme: STRENGTH

    A Strong Woman

    vs.

    A Woman of Strength

A strong woman works out everyday to keep her body in shape…
But a woman of strength builds relationships to keep her soul in shape

    A strong woman isn't afraid of anything…
But a woman of strength shows courage in the midst of fear.

A strong woman won't let anyone get the better of her…
But a woman of strength gives the best of herself to everyone.

A strong woman makes mistakes and avoids the same in the future…
A woman of strength realises life's mistakes can also be unexpected blessings, and capitalises on them

A strong woman wears a look of confidence on her face…
But a woman of strength wears grace.

A strong woman has faith that she is strong enough for the journey…
But a woman of strength has faith that it is in the journey that she will become strong.

    THE STRENGTH OF A MAN
The strength of a man is not seen in the width of his shoulders.
It's seen in the width of his arms that circle you.

The strength of a man isn't in the deep tone of his voice,

It is in the gentle words he whispers.

The strength of a man isn't how many buddies he has.

It's how good a buddy he is with his kids.

The strength of a man isn't in how respected he is at work.

It's in how respected he is at home.

The strength of a man isn't in how hard he hits.

It's in how tender he touches.

The strength of a man isn't in the hair on his chest.

It's in his heart .... that lies within his chest.

The strength of a man isn't how many women he has loved.

It's in - can he be true to one woman.

The strength of a man isn't in the weight he can lift.

It is in the burdens he can carry.

    This Week's Theme: STRENGTH

Where does strength come from you may ask?
Let me do my best to tell you where.
Such an easy quest with little to task.
Here's my answer if dare to care.
Strength is in not in the human spirit.
And its not in the bubbling air.
Nor does it come from the human wit.
      Or taking a dangerous dare.
Strength is from God to man.
      A glorious gift indeed.
You can do it if you plan,
To look to God for the need.
So that's the answer in short time.
      Its basic and true.
      So remember this witty rhyme.
And the answer will be easy for you.

      MJ's Words Of Wisdom

“No matter what, the most powerful thing in the world is the human mind and prayer, and belief in yourself and confidence and perseverance. No matter how many times you do it, you do it again until it’s right. And always believe in yourself. And not matter who’s around you that is being negative or thrusting negative energy at you, totally block it off. Because whatever you believe, you become.
Michael Jackson spoke these words in an Online Audio Chat sponsored by GetMusic.com and RollingStone.com on October 26, 2001 with Anthony DeCurtis as the moderator.

      All Things Bright and Beautiful

      All things bright and beautiful,
      All creatures great and small,
      All things wise and wonderful,
The Lord God made them all.

      Each little flower that opens,
      Each little bird that sings,
      He made their glowing colors,
      He made their tiny wings.

      The purple-headed mountain,
      The river running by,
      The sunset, and the morning,
      That brightens up the sky;

The cold wind in the winter,
      The pleasant summer sun,
The ripe fruits in the garden,
      He made them every one.

He gave us eyes to see them,
And lips that we might tell,
      How great is God Almighty,
Who has made all things well.
