YOU ARE AN ANGEL TO ME

In my whole life,

There is no one else like you.

Someone who changed my life,

Just by being you.

You are an angel to me.

The music of your laughter

Still lightens my inner ear.

You showed me you believe,

That there really is good here.

You are an angel for me.

Even when you are sad and blue,

And life is hard on you,

You spare  one more smile,

Just like God's loving child.

You are God's angel to me.

You have done so much for me,

And given much your time.

I have a gift for you,

With this imperfect rhyme.

Life Lesson Poem: It's Fine Today

Sure, this world is full of trouble

I ain't said it ain't.

Lord, I've had enough and double

Reason for complaint;

Rain and storm have come to fret me,

Skies are often gray;

Iloms and brambles have beset me

On the road-but say,

Ain't it fine today?

What's the use of always weepin',

Making trouble last?

What's the use of always keepin'

Thinkin' of the past?

Each must have his tribulation-

Water with his wine;

Life, it ain't no celebration,

Trouble?-I've had mine-

But today is fine!

It's today that I am livin',

Not a month ago.

Havin'; losin'; takin'; givin';

As time wills it so.

Yesterday a cloud of sorrow

Fell across the way,

It may rain again tomorrow,

It may rain-but say,

Ain't it fine today?

Because of you

the world is a much better place

more lives are inspired, more fulfilled

Because of you

more minds think differently, lovingly

more hearts are caring, more are joyful

Because of you

more dreams are envisioned, more, realized

more love abounds and more bliss is possible

Because of you

life is never the same again...so please, dearest angel

accept our endless love, adoration and respect for you!!!

Find Your Thankful Self

Sometimes you feel you're nothing at all,
And that's all you'll ever be.
You study all your defects;
An empty life is all you see.

Instead of looking at what you haven't got,
Seeing only what you lack,
Focus on your blessings,
And get right back on track.

There are many good things about being you;
Count them one by one.
Your life has lots of comforts,
While others, they have none.

Many people have it much, much worse
Yet they have happiness.
They take joy in little things
They're thankful, though they have less.

Lift your spirits up right now;
Get out of that depression.
Find your thankful self,
And give it full expression.

Find the joy in little things;
Focus on fun and laughter.
See life's blessings all around,
And live happily ever after!

A BEAUTIFUL DAY

I woke up early today, excited over all the things I get to do before the day ends...  My job is to choose what kind of day I am going to have. Today I can complain because the weather is rainy or ... I can be thankful that the grass is getting watered for free. Today I can grumble about my health or... I can rejoice that I am alive. Today I can mourn my lack of friends or... I can excitedly embark upon a quest to discover new relationships. Today I can whine because I have to go to work or... I can shout for joy because I have a job to do. Today I can murmur dejectedly because I have to do housework or... I can feel honoured because life has provided shelter for my mind, body and soul. Today stretches ahead of me, waiting to be shaped ... And here I am, the sculptor who gets to do the shaping. Today I am going to have a BEAUTIFUL DAY...
