Happiness is Pets

Happiness is a pet
With feathers, scales or fur
A parrot who talks back I bet
A cat, she will surely purr

A dog will get you out
And can even guide your way
Meeting people round about
Chasing balls and sticks to play

Horse will take you far and wide
Trusty steed and rider unite
Through town or countryside
View life from a different height

Keep snake and tortoise in a vivarium
A hutch for guinea-pig or rabbit
Tropical fish in an aquarium
But beware Piranhas habit

Whichever pet is right for you
To love, clean, groom and feed
There's always plenty for you to do
Give them the attention they need

And what for you in return you ask
Oh - happiness from all above
Their greatest gift they give to you
Their UNCONDITIONAL LOVE
